Chanel Durante

Chanel Durante is an Italian contemporary painter whose practice explores atmosphere, emotional landscapes, and states of transition through layered, intuitive abstraction.
Working between Italy and Australia, her paintings focus on colour as presence rather than description, evoking inner landscapes shaped by movement and change.
She has exhibited in Australia, including The Other Art Fair (Sydney, 2022), and has participated in the Affordable Art Fair in Sydney and Melbourne. In 2023, The Design Files named her one of the artists to watch at the Melbourne fair. Her work has also been featured in House & Garden and Home Beautiful Australia.
