Leanne Harrison Davies is an artist living and working on the south coast of NSW, she is strongly influenced by the place in which she lives. Leanne also teaches painting in her studio at the Art Shed Berry. Leanne holds a degree in the Visual Arts (COFA) and studied historical oil painting for three years at the Charlie Sheard studio school.
She is a painter who works largely in the genre of still-life with a focus on the natural world. Her interest in oil painting and historical techniques is evident in her work.
Leanne has exhibited regularly for the past 15 years, in both artist-run spaces and commercial galleries.
She has been a finalist in many major art prizes including: The Mosman art prize, the Basil Sellers art prize, the Calleen art prize, the Gosford art prize and the National Emerging Art prize.
